PJSC Amyrshipyard laid down the corvette of project 20385 “Retyiviy”

She completes a series of ships for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation

A project 20385 “Retyviy” corvette was laid down at the Amurshipyard (ASZ, part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, USC). The governor of the Khabarovsk Territory, Mikhail Degtyarev, wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

“At the Amur Shipyard, we are laying down another multi-purpose patrol ship of the near sea zone of project 20385 – Retyviy corvette. Together with the commander of the Pacific Fleet, Admiral Viktor Liina, a mortgage board was installed on the first section of the future corvette, ”he wrote.

The head of the region remind that in recent years, the Amurshipyard has handed over to the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) three corvettes and the non-nuclear submarine “Komsomolsk-on-Amur”, which has undergone deep modernization. “Another corvette will enter service this year. Another 6 are in varying degrees of readiness on the Amurshipyard stocks. Also, 4 small missile ships of project 22800 are being built in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, ”he added.

Earlier, the Amur Shipyard reported that “Retyviy” is the tenth project 20385 corvette, which completes a series of ships for the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Multi-purpose ships of project 20380 and their modified versions of project 20385 of the Almaz design bureau (part of the USC) are being built at two enterprises: the Severnaya Shipyard in St. Petersburg and the Amur Shipyard in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The ships are designed to detect and destroy enemy submarines and surface ships, ensure landings, and solve problems in the near sea zone.

The Amur Shipbuilding Plant is one of the largest shipbuilding enterprises in the Far East region of Russia. The production facilities and technical equipment of the enterprise are adapted for the construction of ships and vessels with a launch weight of up to 10 thousand tons, a length of up to 150 m and a width of up to 20 m.
