The ARPA Functions
The ARPA functions have the following benefits:

The AIS Functions
Interfacing of AIS with the NR 4000 makes the following benefits:
- Receives and displays data on other targets of Class A and B using AIS
- Displays own ship data transmitted by AIS transponder connected to the Navi-Radar
- Turns off the display of AIS target data on screen and fully turns off AIS interface
- Dead reckoning of AIS targets by the user set parameters
- Displays AIS target contour on the scales commensurate with ship dimensions.

Navi-Radar 4000 allows the single click switch between chart displays, automatic chart loading, and zooming whilst displaying current chart information.
