The crabber of project 03141 “Andrey Basargin” was transferred to the customer

The ceremony of raising the flag on the ship took place at the Eastern Shipyard.

The Vostochnaya Shipyard (Primorsky Krai, the management company is the Amur Shipbuilding Plant, part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, USC) handed over the crabber vessel of project 03141 “Andrey Basargin” to the customer and held a flag-raising ceremony on November 15, 2024. This is the sixth crab boat built by the enterprise as part of the investment program “Quotas for keel”, according to the Telegram channel of the shipyard.
The event was attended by Sergey Kalitin, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Primorsky Territory, Mikhail Borovsky, General Director of the Amur Shipbuilding Plant USC, Vitaly Klyuev, Managing Director of the Eastern Shipyard, Pavel Shikhov, Director of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, engineers-inspectors of the RS ship construction technical supervision group and the head of the group, Chief Engineer Inspector Andrey Surzhenko, as well as shipyard workers and guests.
As reported by PortNews IA, the crabbers of project 03141 have been under construction at the Eastern Shipyard since 2019. The developer of the project is SK Viking LLC (Khabarovsk).
Characteristics of the vessel: length — 63.27 m; width — 10.6 m; side height — 4.6 m; gross capacity — 1048 tons; GD power — 1618 kW; displacement — 1586 tons; speed — 14 knots; crew — 21 people; autonomy — 45 days. Class symbol of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS): KM Ice2 (REF) fishing vessel.
The vessel is equipped with traps for crab and shrimp fishing, and is also capable of longline fishing. Conditions are provided on board for storing the catch and transporting it to the port in a live form in RSW tanks with chilled seawater. The cargo hold capacity is 257 cubic meters. The vessel has high speed and seaworthiness necessary for operation in difficult weather conditions of the basins of the Okhotsk and Bering Seas. The navigation area of the vessel is not limited. The ice class allows the vessel to be operated regularly in shallow ice up to half a meter thick.
We also recall that the ship was named in honor of the Far Eastern shipbuilder Andrei Basargin, one of the creators of the 03141 project. The Andrey Basargin crab boat was launched on July 11, 2024.
