The sixth crab was launched in Primorye

Shipbuilders of the Eastern Shipyard launched the sixth crabber “Andrey Basargin” in Vladivostok on Thursday, July 11. The vessel of project 03141 was built under the investment program “Quotas for keel”.
The crabbers of this project have been under construction at the Eastern Shipyard since 2019. It contains the concept of a universal modular complex. It can be used for the extraction and transportation of live crab, as well as to freeze products in the sea and transport them to shore.
Alexey Pikalov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Primorsky Territory, thanked the staff of the Vostochnaya Shipyard for high-quality and fruitful work during the solemn ceremony of launching the sixth crabber into the water.
“This is a significant event not only for the enterprise, but also for the economy of the region as a whole. The plans of the Primorsky shipbuilders are to ensure the launching of 18 fleet units by the end of this year, seven of which were built under the state program “Quotas for Keel”,” the deputy minister stressed.
Krabolov is named after the famous Far Eastern shipbuilder Andrei Basargin. The vessel can also operate as a longline and shrimp boat. It has an unlimited swimming area, and the ice class allows it to be regularly operated in shallow ice up to half a meter thick.
Recall that a shipbuilding and ship repair cluster has been created in the Primorsky Territory. According to Governor Oleg Kozhemyako, this is one of the most significant events in the industry.
“The creation of such a cluster will ensure the production of new types of import–substituting products, its participants will have access to all existing measures of state support,” Oleg Kozhemyako said.
