Vostochnaya Shipyard will launch another crabber of project 03141 in the first quarter of 2024

 

The transfer of the vessel to the customer within the framework of the investment quota is scheduled for August next year.

Construction of a series of crab fishing vessels continues on the stocks of JSC Vostochnaya Verf as part of the first stage of the investment quota. At the moment, the company has started cleaning and painting the hull of the project 03141 vessel (Head No. 505). The launch of the crab is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024, the transfer to the customer — for August next year, according to the Telegram channel of the shipyard.

The work is carried out in accordance with the construction schedule of the vessel, the company notes.

As reported by PortNews, the state flag of the Russian Federation was raised in September 2021 on the first crab boat of project 03141 Okhotsk, built by Vostochnaya Shipyard. In May 2022, the transfer of the second vessel of this project, Ayan, to the Far Eastern Coast company took place. In January 2023, the flag was raised on the crab processor of the 03141 Khabarovsk project, built for Sever LLC.

As of April 2021, it was reported that in total, the company’s portfolio includes five vessels of projects 03141 and 03140 for the extraction of live crab and the production of finished products, respectively. Four vessels will be transferred to the Sigma Marine Technology Group of companies: two crabbers each for LLC Sever and LLC Far Eastern Coast. Another vessel is being built by order of Voskhod LLC.

The vessel of project 03141 is designed for fishing for crab and shrimp with traps, as well as for storing the catch in chilled seawater with subsequent transportation of fresh product to the port. The developer of the project is SK Viking LLC. The length of the crab is 63.27 m; width — 10.6 m; displacement — 1586 tons; speed — 14 knots; crew — 21 people; autonomy — 45 days.

We also remind that currently the bankruptcy case of JSC “Vostochnaya Shipyard” is in the arbitration Court of Primorsky Krai. According to the arbitration file, many different lawsuits have been filed against the shipyard, the amount of claims reaches tens of millions of rubles.

On October 4, 2023, PJSC Amur Shipbuilding Plant (ASZ, part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, USC) announced that it had become the sole governing body of JSC Vostochnaya Verf.
