The Omolon crab boat launched by project 03141 proceeded to completion through the port of Nikolaevsk-on-Amur

The new crab vessel “Omolon” of project 03141, which left the water area of the Khabarovsk Shipyard on August 25, under the wiring of the river tug “RT 670” (Khabarovsk River Trading Port JSC) came to the seaport of Nikolaevsk-on-Amur. This was reported by the press service of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Administration of Seaports of the Sea of Okhotsk and the Tatar Strait”.
In the water area of the seaport, Krabolov received the sea tug Vostok, which will take the vessel to the Livadia Repair and Shipbuilding Plant located in the port of Nakhodka for completion, commissioning, mooring and sea trials.
This is the first of two vessels of this project, built by order of the Magadan fishing company “Mag-Sea International”. The main characteristics of the crab are: the maximum length is 63.27 m, width is 10.6 m, side height (up to the upper deck) is 4.6 m, gross capacity is 1048 tons, GD power is 1618 kW, speed is 14 knots, crew is 21 people, autonomy is 45 days. The vessel has an ice class – Ice 2, which allows independent episodic navigation in the shallow, thin ice of the Nearctic seas and in solid ice in the channel behind the icebreaker with an ice thickness of up to 0.55 m.
Delivery of the vessel is planned for 2023.
The second vessel, the Kedon, under construction at the Khabarovsk Shipyard, will also undergo mooring tests in the water area of the plant, and in the autumn, before the end of river navigation, it will be transported to the delivery base in the port of Nakhodka for final completion.
The construction of vessels of project 03141 commissioned by Mag-Si International LLC is carried out within the framework of the state program, which has received the name “quotas for keel” in the industry. The vessels are designed for fishing crab and shrimp traps, as well as for storing the catch in chilled seawater with subsequent transportation of fresh product to the port.
