Barents sea trawler handed over to the customer

PJSC Vyborg shipbuilding plant (Leningrad region) and JSC Arkhangelsk trawl fleet, part of the North-West fishing consortium, signed an acceptance certificate for the transfer of the head trawler processor of the KMT01 Barents sea project. This is the first large-capacity trawler built at a Russian shipyard in the last 30 years under the class of the Russian Maritime register of shipping. After successfully passing the sea trials of the Barents sea trawler, where the design characteristics of the vessel were confirmed and verified, the parties signed an acceptance certificate for the transfer of the vessel to Arkhangelsk trawl fleet JSC. Field tests, according to the terms of the shipbuilding contract, will be carried out after the transfer to the customer directly in the fishing area. The Barents sea was laid down at the Vyborg shipyard on may 31, 2017, and launched on December 5, 2018.
